Intake Assessments of Career Transitioners

Once AMERIFF has received the completed forms and qualifications for a prospective career transitioner, AMERIFF’s Career Counselors will determine, whether an individual is qualified to enter the Program. Some people may not need our services; others might need just a few services; still others might need several of our offerings.

The determinations will be made based on the following criteria:

  • Desire of the enrolee. In other words, what kind of job do you want now that your military service is over? Or in the case of your spouse or adult child, what job skills are they looking for to begin a new career or expand in their current employment?
  • What job skills do you currently possess? What has the military given you that you can transfer into the civilian workforce?
  • What is your education level?

Once a determination has been made regarding an applicant’s specific needs, AMERIFF will contact each participant to begin the Program.
