Job Skill Assessment, Evaluation and Testing
A vital function of the AMERIFF Program is to determine each Participant’s specific skill set at the outset in order to determine the best fit for the Participant in the civilian workforce. To do this, AMERIFF’s Career Counselors use state-of-the-art assessment, evaluation and testing software, as well as their own expertise and understanding of private industry and transitioning military veterans to the civilian workforce.
The software AMERIFF uses can be modified to fit almost any form of employment, to determine each Participant’s current skills. This information will give each Program Participant a valuable tool to determine what skills to enhance as they seek employment in the private sector.
Additionally, AMERIFF’s Career Counselors can use the information provided by the assessments and testing procedures to guide participants to appropriate private industries that need particular skills. AMERIFF’s Career Counselors can also recommend additional skills the Participant may want to enhance to further their goals of gainful employment within the private sector.
Ultimately, the goal is to provide each AMERIFF participant with the tools and skills he or she needs as they move into the workforce.
